trying to figure out how to word the idea that “ur allowed to be openly and outwardly mean and angry and bitchy and that doesn’t make you a bad person” and “maybe just try to be nice to people who obviously mean no harm/who just kind of disagree with you” are statements that should coexist. like, meanness is a great tool in certain situations and it’s a relatively neutral characteristic that shouldn’t hold moral weight but u don’t get to ruin someone else’s day just to prove that.
